Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. seeks a Lead, Systems Engineering Link 22 to drive architecture, design, integration, and testing of Link 22 data-link solutions for airborne and ground platforms.

The role supports multi‑domain interoperability and involves travel as required by program phases. The ideal candidate brings deep Link 22 expertise, strong systems engineering background, and experience shaping requirements for complex ISR and communications systems across platforms.

Qualifications

• Active US Secret clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology or related field with 9+ years of relevant experience.
• Graduate degree with 7+ years related experience; or 13 years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Demonstrated systems engineering requirements development, decomposition, traceability, and verification/validation.
• Experience creating tactical datalink scenarios for software development, integration, and testing.
• Hands-on experience integrating Link 22 hardware/software in airborne/ground environments.
• Experience with Link 22 network architecture, NPG design, and STANAG 5522 messaging.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Link 22 SME, managing architecture, configuration, and interoperability.
• Integrate and configure Link 22 systems for airborne and maritime platforms.
• Design Link 22 data flows across multi-node networks and time-slot management.
• Develop and maintain exportable Link 22 configurations across programs.
• Test planning and execution for Link 22 standards and MIL‑STD/STANAG specs.
• Plan interoperability testing in lab and field environments; support multi‑national events.
• Prepare technical presentations and communicate complex details to government customers.
• Develop software and system test plans in a collaborative team environment.
