Job summary

Covenant Living Communities & Services, Inc. is seeking a line cook to prepare, portion, cook, and present hot and cold items for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and special events. You will use classical techniques and standardized recipes for residents in a senior living environment.

Responsibilities include ensuring sanitation, following safety policies, and maintaining high-quality outputs while working within state and federal guidelines. Some holiday and flexible hours required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Current Food Handler’s Permit is required.
• ServSafe training beneficial.
• State sanitation certificate.
• 3–4 years of related and advanced food service/cooking experience.
• Intermediate to advanced knife experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook to order foods with short to mid-level prep time.
• Operate grill station and read orders to prep per instructions.
• Follow recipes, seasonings, and cooking directions for quality dishes.
• Plate and garnish the meals with attention to appearance.
• Maintain sanitation, safety, and food safety standards.
