Job summary

Covenant Living Communities and Services is seeking a Line Cook to accurately prepare, cook, and present hot and cold items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and events in a senior living setting. You will produce meals using classical techniques while maintaining sanitation and compliance with state and federal standards.

Responsibilities include following recipes, assisting with allergy/diet needs, and ensuring high-quality service to residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Current Food Handler’s Permit is required.
• 3-4 years of related and advanced food service experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow recipes and instructions.
• Strong communication with residents and staff, English proficiency.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and plate meals for residents in a senior living environment.
• Follow standardized recipes and safety guidelines.
• Maintain sanitation and food safety compliance.
• Assist with allergy and special diet requirements.
• Operate kitchen equipment and manage production quantities.
• Provide courteous service and support resident dining experiences.
