Job summary

The Covenant Living Communities & Services, Inc. is seeking a Line Cook to accurately prepare, season, and plate a variety of hot and cold items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and events in a senior living environment.

You will follow standardized recipes, maintain sanitation, and ensure high quality while meeting safety standards. Ideal candidates have high school diploma, valid Food Handler’s Permit, ServSafe training, and 3-4 years of kitchen experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Current Food Handler’s Permit is required; ServSafe training is beneficial.
• State sanitation certificate is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and cooks to order foods with short to mid-level prep time.
• Operates kitchen equipment to prepare and plate meals.
• Maintains sanitation and safety standards; records temperatures and production levels.
• Reads orders and prepares foods according to instructions and recipes.
• Attends safety and allergy trainings and follows food safety principles.
