Job summary

Covenant Living Communities and Services is seeking a Line Cook to accurately and efficiently prepare and present a variety of hot and cold items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events in a senior living/healthcare setting.

Responsibilities include following recipes, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring high quality and safe food service while complying with federal, state, and local regulations. Some allergy training and safety protocols are required.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Food Handler’s Permit is required.
• ServSafe training is beneficial.
• State sanitation certificate is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook foods to order for residents in a senior living/healthcare environment.
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards per regulations and company policy.
• Read orders and follow recipes; operate kitchen equipment to prepare meals.
• Ensure quality and presentation of all food items; assist with inventory and stocking.
