Job summary

Alltown Fresh is expanding its team with a Line Cook 1, reporting to the culinary leadership at Global Partners. You’ll prep and plate using locally sourced ingredients, maintain an organized workspace, and contribute to a culture of hospitality.

You will assist in interviewing candidates, train new hires, and help ensure safe food handling and allergen awareness. Flexible hours including early mornings, weekends, or holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Basic knife and food preparation skills.
• Must be available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, weekends and or holidays.
• Must obtain ServSafe certification.
• High school diploma or GED.
• ServSafe certification preferred.
• High School Diploma High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Preps, labels and stocks ingredients for meal service.
• Interacts with guests showcasing passion for foodservice and hospitality.
• Assists in interviewing candidates and training new culinary hires.
• Communicates inventory and kitchen needs to Chef.
• Follows safe food handling procedures and maintains cleanliness.
