Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Line Cook to take a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced kitchen, preparing fresh, made-to-order and grab-and-go dishes while guiding the team to deliver consistency, speed, and excellence. Qualifications

• 2+ years of culinary experience in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to coach and support team members.
• Excellent understanding of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operations.
• Ability to multitask and maintain composure during high-volume service.
• Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented with a passion for great food.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example in preparing and cooking all menu items to company standards.
• Execute daily prep and ensure all stations are stocked, organized, and ready for service.
• Maintain consistency in flavor, presentation, and portioning across dishes.
• Monitor service flow, ensuring accuracy and timely ticket execution.
• Support menu rollouts, specials, and seasonal offerings as directed by the Kitchen Manager.
• Provide hands‑on guidance and training to line and prep cooks.
• Foster teamwork, communication, and efficiency across all kitchen stations.
• Assist in onboarding new staff and reinforcing kitchen standards.
• Step into a leadership role when management is not present.
