Job summary

Salted is seeking a Lead Line Cook in Pasadena, CA. The position offers an hourly rate of $22–$24 and requires leadership experience along with strong kitchen skills. You will oversee line stations, ensure consistency with recipes, and maintain food quality and safety on a fast-paced line.

Responsibilities include training staff, owning opening/closing shifts, and coordinating with the virtual FOH team. Benefits include comprehensive medical plans and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years kitchen experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience.
• Advanced kitchen skills, including knife/prep work, sauté, and more.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items consistently and in compliance with recipes, portioning, cooking and waste control guidelines.
• Assist in the training and development of staff members.
• Take ownership of the opening, closing, and shift hand-off process.
• Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards.
• Communicate customer order information to our virtual FOH team.
