Job summary

Salted in Culver City is hiring Lead & Line Cooks for PM shifts with part-time opportunities. Lead Line Cook earns $21–$23 per hour; Line Cook $19–$21 per hour. Locations include Culver City and Koreatown, with flexible scheduling and shift coverage.

Roles involve cooking to Salted standards, sanitation compliance, teamwork with Front of House, and leading opening/closing hand-offs. Training duties and conflict resolution support are included.

Qualifications

• 2 years of kitchen experience minimum.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Solid foundation in culinary skills including knife work and flat-top cooking.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items following Salted standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety compliance at all times.
• Collaborate with Front of House to ensure great dining experiences.
• Take ownership of opening, closing, and shift hand-off processes.
• Assist in training and development of staff members.
• Foster smooth team dynamics and resolve minor conflicts.

Hourly Rates: Line Cook: $19 - $21, Lead Line Cook: $21 - $23hr

Lead & Line Cook Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items to perfection, accurately following our Salted culinary standards.
• Maintain compliance with sanitation regulations and safety standards.
• Collaborate with our virtual Front of House team to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
• Take ownership of the opening, closing, and shift hand-off process.
• Assist in the training and development of staff members.
• Facilitate smooth team dynamics by addressing and resolving minor conflicts among staff, fostering a harmonious work atmosphere.

Lead & Line Cook Requirements
