Job summary

FAENA Miami Beach is seeking an experienced Line Cook to plan, prep, set up and provide high quality service across designated outlets in accordance with recipes and plating guides.

You will direct, train and monitor Line Cooks, maintain cleanliness and sanitation, and ensure adherence to health regulations and resort standards while supporting the Sous Chef to deliver exceptional dining experiences for guests and residents.

Qualifications

• Plan, prep, set up and provide quality service in all areas of food production for menu items and specials.
• Direct, train and monitor performance of Line Cooks.
• Maintain organization, cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
• Maintain and strictly abide by Health regulations and Resort requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of departmental policies and procedures.
• Ensure opening/closing duties and station setup are completed.
• Coordinate breaks and staffing for shifts.
• Prepare and assign prep work for Line Cooks and review priorities.
• Inform Sous Chef of shortages or needs for supplies.
