Witherite Law Group is seeking a Lead Lien Specialist to lead the Liens team, assign tasks, and ensure work meets standards and deadlines. You will manage lien processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and resolve lien-related issues while collaborating with attorneys and internal teams.

The role requires strong knowledge of liens and subrogation, excellent communication, and the ability to drive performance and audit-ready records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, legal studies, or related field.
• Experience as a legal closing specialist, subrogation analyst, or liens-related role.
• Strong knowledge of lien and subrogation laws.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and with teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and guiding team members to meet goals.
• Review and analyze legal documents, medical bills, and records for liens.
• Examine case files and settlement documents for liens or subrogation.
• Check for outstanding liens, subrogation, or bankruptcy filings.
• Notify Medicare/Medicaid/Tricare and obtain required responses.
• Review or dispute reductions for liens or subrogation per attorney instructions.
• Use case management system to document lien status.
• Conduct secondary checks for high-risk liens before payout.
• Communicate with attorneys, departments, vendors, and clients.
• Maintain organized lien documentation for audits.
• Stay updated on lien laws and industry best practices.
