Job summary

The Ward Law Group, PL is seeking a Lien Resolution Team Lead to supervise a specialized group of reductions and lien resolution professionals. You will personally handle the most complex liens and drive performance metrics, including aggregate reduction rate and net-to-client recovery.

You will negotiate with providers and plans to maximize client recoveries, while ensuring timely and accurate disbursements and strict regulatory compliance. A leadership background in a PI firm is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in medical lien resolution, reductions, or settlement negotiation at a PI firm, lien resolution company, or healthcare recovery vendor.
• 1+ year of experience leading, training, or mentoring a team.
• Proven history negotiating meaningful reductions on medical balances and liens with quantified results.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and evaluate a team of reductions and lien resolution specialists; assign files and manage workload.
• Track and report aggregate reduction percentage, dollars saved, aging, and settlement-to-disbursement turnaround.
• Negotiate high-balance, high-complexity, and escalated reductions with providers or plans.
• Resolve Medicare conditional payments, AHCA liens, ERISA, and self-funded plan reimbursements.
• Maintain compliance with trust accounting, Florida Bar rules, and firm documentation.
