Job summary

Witherite Law Group in Richardson, TX is seeking a Lien Specialist to manage the lien process, ensure compliance with legal requirements, and coordinate with attorneys, clients, and vendors to resolve lien-related issues.

You will review medical bills, case files, and settlements, verify notices to Medicare/Medicaid/Tricare, document statuses in the case management system, and stay current on lien laws and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, legal studies, or related field preferred.
• Experience as a legal closing specialist, subrogation analyst, settlements coordinator, lien processor, or related role.
• Strong understanding of lien and subrogation laws, regulations, and legal principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to handle confidential information discreetly.

Responsibilities

• Review legal documents and medical bills to identify lien obligations.
• Examine case files and settlements to identify liens or subrogation.
• Verify notices to Medicare/Medicaid/Tricare and responses; coordinate with stakeholders.
• Document lien status in the case management system and maintain updated records.
• Coordinate with attorneys, clients, and vendors to resolve lien-related inquiries or disputes.
