Job summary

The Ward Law Group in Florida seeks a Lien Resolution Team Lead to supervise reductions and lien specialists, manage large and complex files, and own key metrics such as reduction rate and net-to-client recovery. This negotiation role blends leadership with hands-on file work.

You will negotiate with providers, oversee compliance, and ensure accurate, prompt disbursement while protecting client interests. A strong track record in lien reductions and Florida practice is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in medical lien resolution, reductions, or settlement negotiation.
• At least one (1) year of experience leading, training, or mentoring a team.
• Demonstrated track record of negotiating meaningful reductions on medical balances and liens.
• Working knowledge of Medicare Secondary Payer rules and AHCA lien process.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Post-settlement medical bill and liens.
• Lead and train a team of reductions and lien specialists.
• Track aggregate reduction percentage and dollars saved; monitor turnaround.
• Negotiate high-balance, high-complexity reductions with providers.
• Direct resolution of Medicare, Medicaid, ERISA, and other liens.
• Ensure client experience is clear and disbursement accurate; maintain compliance.
