International Justice Mission (IJM) seeks a seasoned Legal Counsel for Data Privacy and AI to lead our global privacy, AI, and information governance initiatives. You will provide strategic legal leadership, assess regulatory risk, and shape governance frameworks across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

Active bar membership and law degree required.
Experience advising on data privacy, AI, cybersecurity, or information governance.
Ability to lead strategic legal work and provide practical guidance across jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary legal counsel for data privacy, AI, cybersecurity, and related technology matters.
Lead execution of legal portfolio aligned with IJM’s strategy and governance.
Advise senior leadership on complex legal risks and regulatory developments.
Develop scalable governance frameworks for responsible data and technology use.
Collaborate with Global Functions, Regional teams, and other stakeholders.
Manage relationships with external counsel and professional networks.
