Job summary

American Family Insurance Claims Services, Inc. is seeking a lead-level field property claims adjuster to investigate and maintain highly complex homeowner claims in Washington.

You will handle on-site inspections, negotiations, and coverage evaluation while working closely with a Large Loss Senior Manager. Requires 5+ years in field property claims, advanced Xactimate experience, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience handling field property personal lines claims.
• Customer-driven solutions or service experience.
• Ability to handle complex claims efficiently and independently.

Responsibilities

• Investigates origin and cause of high exposure claims by contacting insureds, claimants, agents, attorneys, contractors, experts, and other adjusters.
• Participates in High Damage Reviews to address coverage issues and exposure.
• Handles 1st party and 3rd party claims under multiple policy types and endorsements.
• Conducts on-site inspections, evaluates damages, and negotiates with insureds and attorneys.
