Job summary

Systems Planning Corporation (SPC), a subsidiary of GAI Consultants, Inc., seeks a Lead Construction Inspector/Coordinator to provide QA oversight on landfill projects across the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast. This contract role requires strong CQC/CQA experience, geomembrane installation knowledge, and field reporting, with responsibility for training other technicians.

Travel is required and lodging is provided.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of landfill construction CQC/CQA experience.
• Experience with geosynthetic liner systems at landfills.
• Ability to observe construction, test soils, and prepare daily reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, tests, and sampling for power generation construction projects.
• Lead CQC/CQA on project sites and coordinate with Owner, Contractor, and laboratories.
• Document inspection results and calibrate test equipment; assist in procedure development.
