Job summary

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. in Naperville, IL seeks a Construction Quality Assurance professional to join our civil engineering team.

The role focuses on landfill and CCR impoundment projects, with most time in the field, coordinating with technical staff, contractors, and clients to ensure conformance with plans, QA/QC programs, and safety standards. Responsibilities include daily inspections, testing, sampling, reports, and data management.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of landfill CQA project experience including both soil liner construction and geomembrane liner installation.
• Ability to speak and write professionally
• Willingness to travel through out midwest at extended periods of time

Responsibilities

• Quality assurance inspection at landfill and impoundment construction sites performing daily inspections, testing, and sampling duties and to monitor progress and ensure conformance with engineering plans, quality assurance plans specifications and construction and safety standards
• Completion of daily testing and survey activities
• Completion of appropriate paperwork, and preparation of field daily reports and database management
