GAI Consultants, Inc. seeks a Lead Construction Inspector/Coordinator (Project Construction Technician 1) to provide QA oversight on landfill construction projects across the Mid-Atlantic and southeastern states. This is a contract position, with field orientation and travel as needed.

• Experience with construction quality control (CQC) or construction quality assurance (CQA) for landfills or similar sites.
• Ability to observe construction activities, perform field testing, and document results.
• Capable of leading field teams and coordinating with Owners, Contractors, and third-party labs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee CQC/CQA activities on landfill construction projects.
• Inspect geosynthetic liner installations and earthwork activities.
• Document inspections, testing, and QC checks; generate reports.
• Coordinate calibration of test equipment and maintain procedures.
