Job summary

Weaver Consultants Group is seeking a Construction Manager to join our Solid Waste CQA team in the Southwest Practice Group. The role covers field work, supervising engineering technicians, and coordinating field documentation for certification reports.

Travel to cover field staff PTOs and site visits is required, with ability to respond to emergencies and coordinate equipment. Strong leadership and communication are essential to succeed in a fast-paced, multi-state environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ minimum experience in construction.
• Nuclear density gauge experience preferred.
• Ability to understand contracts, plans, specifications, and regulations.
• Ability to be flexible in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong oral and written communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction quality assurance and quality control activities across multiple states.
• Directly supervise a team of engineering technicians in various states.
• Coordinate field staff, equipment, and project documentation reports.
• Assist the project manager with finalizing field data for certification reports.
• Travel to cover field staff PTO, field visits, and start/end portions of projects.
• Address emergencies as they arise with the project team.
