Job summary

WarHorse Gaming LLC in Omaha seeks a Restaurant Sous Chef to support the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations, ensuring menu items are prepared to the highest standards of quality, consistency, and food safety. This hands-on leadership role guides the culinary team, coordinates daily tasks, and helps drive an exceptional dining experience.

Responsibilities include training staff, scheduling, assisting with inventory and cost controls, maintaining sanitation, and ensuring accurate records

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years kitchen experience, including 2 years in supervision.
Associate degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent preferred.
ServSafe, Food Handler, and TIPS certifications required; ability to obtain Nebraska Gaming License.
Proven leadership, coaching, and guest-service focus.

Responsibilities

Lead daily kitchen operations and delegate tasks.
Ensure recipes, portions, and presentation meet standards.
