Job summary

WarHorse Gaming Omaha is seeking a Restaurant Sous Chef to support the Executive Chef in leading daily kitchen operations and ensuring top-quality, safe, and visually appealing menu items. You will provide hands-on leadership to the culinary team, coordinate daily activities, and assist with cost controls and inventory to deliver an exceptional dining experience for every guest.

The role requires strong leadership and communication skills, 5 years of kitchen experience (2 in supervision),

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum 5 years kitchen experience; at least 2 years in supervision/leadership.
• Must obtain Nebraska Gaming License; ServSafe, Food Handler and TIPS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Supports Executive Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations and task delegation.
• Ensures food prepared to recipes, portions, and presentation standards.
• Monitors quality, freshness, and portion control; assists with menu development.
