Job summary

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery is seeking a motivated manager to oversee back-of-house operations and drive sales and profit for the location. You will provide direction to staff, enforce policies, and ensure a high-quality guest experience.

The role emphasizes leadership, training, and maintaining safe, sanitary kitchens while coordinating with regional and store leadership to achieve objectives. A high school diploma and some college are preferred, with 1-2 years of managerial experience in food

Qualifications

• High school diploma; some college or degree preferred.
• 1-2 years managerial experience, preferably in the food service industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist restaurant staff to achieve planned profit levels while ensuring maximum guest satisfaction and development and training of employees.
• Ensure that all menu items are prepared, portioned and presented properly in a clean, safe and sanitary manner.
• Under certain circumstances, perform/assist all functions for all positions in the restaurant.
• Maintain inventory levels for food and non-food items and manage ordering and usage.
• Ensure productivity and service standards with a sufficient number of well-trained employees.
• Manage facility and equipment through preventive maintenance, energy conservation, repairs, and safety compliance.
• Conduct staffing, training and performance reviews for kitchen personnel and recommend salary adjustments.
• Accountable for payroll, restaurant supplies, inventories, and operating expenses.
