Job summary

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery is seeking a Kitchen/Operations Leader to manage back of the house and drive profitability while ensuring guest satisfaction. You will direct kitchen staff, enforce company policies, and uphold safety and sanitation standards.

The role emphasizes controlling inventories, training teams, and partnering with management to meet financial objectives in a fast-paced environment. Reports to the General Manager and collaborates with home office departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; some college preferred.
• 1-2 years managerial experience in food service.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage back of the house operations to achieve planned sales and profits.
• Provide direction to back of house staff and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Ensure menu items are prepared safely, portioned and presented properly.
• Oversee inventory, ordering, and cost control procedures.
• Lead staff training, performance reviews and salary recommendations.
• Attend unit and regional management meetings and present as requested.
• Maintain safe, sanitary operations and compliance with health regulations.
