Job summary

Family Dollar in Indianapolis is seeking a part-time associate to support store operations, assist customers, and work closely with the Store Manager. You will help with merchandising, POS transactions, and maintaining a welcoming store environment.

The role requires flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays, with physical duties including lifting up to 40 lbs (and occasionally 55 lbs) and standing for long periods. Employer-provided benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Education: Prefer completion of high school or equivalent.
• Ability to read, interpret and explain operational directives.

Responsibilities

• Guides store team on operating practices and procedures.
• Greets customers and resolves inquiries.
• Improves sales via suggestive selling and promotions.
• Maintains clean, stocked shelves and handles merchandise transfers.
• Processes transactions accurately using POS system.
• Supports asset protection and opening/closing duties.
• Completes all training timely and adheres to company policies.
