Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a part-time associate to provide friendly customer service, assist shoppers with merchandise decisions, and process transactions at the register. The role also supports store operations, inventory, and replenishment under the Store Manager’s guidance.

Candidates should be able to work a flexible schedule, lift up to 40 lbs (up to 55 lbs occasionally), and have prior retail management experience preferred. Training and equal opportunity employment are provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to work flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs (and occasionally up to 55 lbs).
• Prefer prior management experience in retail/grocery environments.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, assist with merchandise selection, and complete sales transactions.
• Maintain inventory levels and assist with deliveries and replenishment.
• Open/close the store in the absence of Store Manager, oversee store conditions.
