Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a part-time Retail Associate to greet customers, assist with merchandise selection, and process sales at the POS. You will help maintain inventory, stock shelves, and support daily store operations including deliveries and replenishment.

In this role you may be asked to open or close the store in the absence of the Store Manager, handle customer funds, and contribute to a positive store image in the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; ability to read and explain directives.
• Strong customer service and communication skills essential.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, assist with merchandise and complete sales transactions.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and support daily store operations.
• Open/close duties in absence of Store Manager and assist with cash handling and deposits.
• Support asset protection and help with deliveries and replenishment.
