Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to greet customers, assist with merchandise, and process sales at the register. The role emphasizes friendly service, inventory support, and store upkeep to ensure a positive shopping experience.

You will help unload deliveries, stock shelves, participate in inventory control, and support daily store operations under supervision, including opening and closing duties when needed.

Qualifications

• Greet customers and assist with merchandise, questions and sales.
• Prefer management experience in retail or grocery environments.
• Ability to read and interpret operational directives.

Responsibilities

• Greet, assist and thank customers; resolve inquiries.
• Build basket size through suggestive selling and promotions.
• Maintain clean, stocked store and accurate inventory.
• Handle cash and process transactions using the POS system.
• Support deliveries, stock replenishment, and store operations.
• Open/close duties in absence of Store Manager; assist cashiers.
