Job summary

Beehive Industries in Centennial, Colorado is seeking a Lead Test Operator to support the assembly and testing of small turbine engines. The role involves installing instrumentation, running test sequences, and preparing for the next production step.

You will work with engineering, supply chain and EHS teams on a three-day, 12-hour shift schedule (Fri–Sun) with a shift differential, and you must be able to read blueprints, use hand tools, and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience with 2 years of mechanical and/or electrical assembly testing experience, preferably in a highly regulated industry.
• Strong understanding of testing processes, Standard Work Instruction adherence, hand-tool utilization, and Lean manufacturing.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Install, align, connect, and execute a pre-programmed series of test steps following standard work instructions.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic equipment per guidelines.
• Read blueprints/schematics to guide install/uninstall actions when needed.
• Conduct all activities safely, per Environmental Health and Safety policies.
• Wear prescribed PPE daily and in compliance with site requirements.
• Install instrumentation (thermocouples, transducers, strain gauges, accelerometers).
• Perform maintenance on equipment to ensure availability and timely replacement.
• Complete mechanical/electrical work on supporting equipment as directed.
• Support development of test procedures and troubleshoot issues.
