Job summary

Beehive Industries in Centennial, Colorado, is seeking a Lead Test Operator to support the assembly and testing of newly built small turbine engines. The role works in a development environment but mainly supports high-rate production, applying instrumentation and installing engines into a test cell.

You will partner with engineering, supply chain, EHS and others to deliver high-quality products. The position follows a three-day, 12-hour shift schedule (Fri–Sun) with shift differential and

Qualifications

• 4+ years in mechanical and/or electrical assembly testing, preferably in a regulated industry.
• Strong understanding of testing processes and Lean manufacturing.
• Experience with Standard Work Instructions and hand-tool usage.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Install, align, connect, and execute a series of test steps per instructions.
• Operate hand and pneumatic tools and follow equipment usage guidelines.
• Read blueprints/schematics to guide install/uninstall actions.
• Perform safety procedures and support EHS initiatives daily.
• Wear required PPE and comply with site requirements.
• Install instrumentation (thermocouples, sensors, transducers, etc.).
• Maintain equipment with routine preventive maintenance.
• Lead or contribute to test procedures and troubleshooting.
• Document data and ensure compliance with design specs.
• Communicate progress and issues; support root cause analysis.
• Capture accurate timekeeping for each task daily.
• Stand for long periods; lift up to 35 pounds.
• Travel to Cincinnati, OH or Knoxville, TN locations if needed.
