Job summary

Beehive Industries is seeking a Lead Test Operator at our Centennial, Colorado facility to support assembly and testing of small turbine engines. You will apply instrumentation, install engines into test cells, execute test sequences, and prepare for the next steps in production, collaborating with engineering, supply chain, and EHS teams.

The role requires 4+ years in mechanical/electrical assembly testing in regulated environments, strong Lean manufacturing knowledge, and the ability to obtain

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience with 2 years of mechanical and/or electrical assembly testing in a highly regulated industry (aerospace, automotive, medical, etc.).
• Strong understanding of testing processes, Standard Work Instruction adherence, hand-tool utilization, and Lean manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Install, align, connect, and execute a pre-programmed sequence of test steps following standard work instructions.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic equipment per guidelines.
• Read blueprints or schematics to guide installation/uninstallation actions as needed.
• Conduct all activities in compliance with EHS policies; participate in hazard identification and corrective actions.
• Wear prescribed PPE daily per site rules.
• Install instrumentation such as thermocouples, pressure transducers, strain gauges, accelerometers.
• Perform maintenance on equipment to ensure availability.
• Advance tasks with appropriate leadership; complete electrical/mechanical work on supporting equipment as directed.
• Assist in developing or improving test procedures; troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Use measuring/inspecting equipment to ensure items meet design specs.
• Use computer software to view instructions and track progress.
