Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Process and Tooling Engineer to lead ISBM tooling projects, mold qualification, and process optimization across manufacturing sites. You will collaborate with Product Development, R&D, Operations, and Quality to ensure safety, quality, and performance while driving standardization and continuous improvement.

The role requires 5–8 years in plastics packaging, ISBM tooling experience, and a mechanical/electrical/manufacturing/plastics engineering degree.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in plastics packaging manufacturing, process engineering, tooling engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Injection Stretch Blow Molding (ISBM) tooling and vendors.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Plastics Engineering, or related technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead mold sampling, process qualification, and validation for new or rebuilt molds.
• Optimize molding processes to meet dimensional, visual, and performance specs at designed cycle times.
• Develop and maintain engineering standards and technical documentation.
• Train plant personnel on machine processing, tooling systems, troubleshooting, and best practices.
