Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Process and Tooling Engineer to lead ISBM tooling, mold qualification, and process optimization across manufacturing operations. You will drive standardization, documentation, and vendor collaboration while supporting startups and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires 5–8 years in plastics packaging, strong molding and CAD/SAP experience, and a track record of delivering engineered solutions with safety and quality in mind.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 5–8 years in plastics packaging manufacturing, process engineering, or tooling.
• Experience with Injection Stretch Blow M molding (ISBM) tooling and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Lead mold sampling, process qualification, and validation for new, replacement, and rebuilt molds.
• Optimize molding processes to meet dimensional and performance specs at designed cycle times.
• Develop and maintain tooling standards, process baselines, and documentation (POA, MP sheets).
• Train plant personnel on tooling operation, troubleshooting, and process control.
• Support startups, process validations, and capability studies across locations.
