Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to lead cross-discipline modeling efforts on transit and multimodal projects. You will coordinate models across architecture, structures, roadway design, and MEP to deliver federated, clash-checked deliverables.

You will run Navisworks clash detection, mentor junior staff, and help enforce CAD/BIM standards while interfacing with clients and subconsultants.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational technical training in basic CADD drafting technology and intelligent modeling.
• 12 years of related experience.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Cross-discipline coordination across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design and MEP.
• Runs clash detection in Navisworks and leads resolution across disciplines.
• Establishes and enforces BIM/CADD standards and workflows.
• Mentors production staff and provides design sketches for finished drawings.
