Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to lead cross-discipline modeling coordination on transit and multimodal projects. You will integrate architectural, structural, roadway, and MEP data into federated, clash-checked models across the project lifecycle.

The role demands 12 years of related experience and strong command of Autodesk Navisworks, AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and Bentley OpenRoads. Domestic/international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Cross-discipline coordination — serves as Intelligent Modeling Coordinator across design disciplines into a single federated model.
• Model coordination & clash detection — runs clash detection in Navisworks and leads resolution across disciplines.
• Standards & governance — establishes and enforces CADD/BIM standards and workflows across offices.
• Mentorship & guidance — mentors production staff and provides design sketches for finished drawings.
• Interfaces with clients, agencies, and subconsultants on model deliverable requirements.
