The Atlantic District in Manchester, Connecticut seeks a motivated Lead Insurance Agent to run a Farmers agency by leading growth, operations, and client services for the community. You will engage with neighbors and build lasting trust, guiding a team that values integrity and human connection.

This role emphasizes in-person client meetings, tailoring coverage for families and local businesses, and contributing to a supportive, community-focused agency culture across Connecticut.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed for Property and Casualty in CT.
• At least three years of experience managing client portfolios.
• Strong in in-person client meetings and policy interpretation.
• Familiar with CT local business landscape.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery meetings to understand client risks and goals.
• Create customized coverage programs for families and businesses in CT.
• Maintain active relationships with current policyholders to ensure coverage evolves with life changes.
• Review policies to identify gaps and offer proactive protection solutions.
• Represent The Atlantic District at community events and local networking.
• Mentor junior team members on best practices for client communication and file management.

Active Property and Casualty Insurance License in Connecticut.

Strong comfort level with consultative, face-to-face client meetings.

Proven ability to interpret policy language and explain it simply to others.

Deep familiarity with local business landscapes in the Manchester area.

Knowledge of carrier quoting platforms and agency management systems.
