Job summary

Enel North America, Inc. is seeking a Lead Instrumentation & Control Technician to supervise up to 10 I&C technicians across multiple solar PV assets.

You will schedule daily work, mentor staff, and coordinate with Reliability Manager to optimize generation and assure safe, compliant operations. You will troubleshoot control systems, interpret schematics, manage data reports, and collaborate with contractors for maintenance and QA/QC activities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in renewable energy sector or relevant field.
• 3+ years field experience in utility-scale generation.
• Strong understanding of control systems, ESD, PLCs and UPS systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of up to 10 I&C Technicians remotely, scheduling daily activities and mentoring.
• Analyze performance data, generate reports, and support safety and compliance needs.
• Troubleshoot control systems, read schematics, and coordinate with contractors for maintenance.
• Ensure calibration and maintenance of meteorological stations and related instrumentation.
• Coordinate with planning to maximize generation and minimize downtime.
