Job summary

Enel North America seeks a Lead Solar Technician to join its Operations & Maintenance team in Utah. The role involves maintaining, testing, and troubleshooting AC/DC circuits, and leading a crew of up to 10 technicians to maximize generation while upholding safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in renewables, 3+ years supervisory experience, and a strong background in electrical theory and testing. Travel up to 25% and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in renewable energy sector
• 3+ years supervisory experience in field staff
• Electrical or technical degree and related experience
• Strong attention to detail and safety mindset
• Ability to travel up to 25% and work overtime as needed

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of up to 10 Field Service Technicians and supervise daily activities
• Schedule work to maximize generation and ensure safety
• Install, test, maintain and troubleshoot electrical components
• Review schematics and order parts/tools for jobs
• Complete safety docs (LOTO, JSA, permits) and reports
• Perform data collection and generate maintenance reports
• Provide training and mentor technicians
• Support regional maintenance activities and QA/QC
• Respond to site emergencies and on-call needs
• Ensure compliance with HSEQ policies
