Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 8–10+ years in systems administration, endpoint management, identity management, or IT operations.
• Broad IT experience across Windows, Mac, Databases, Storage, Security, Networking and public clouds.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Administration, Entra ID (CA policies), Okta, endpoint security, PowerShell.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills; ownership mindset.
• Biotech startup or biopharmaceutical experience is a plus.
• Ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
• Patient, customer-focused mindset; ability to prioritize multiple issues.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary escalation point for the IT organization and provide hands-on support as needed.
• Lead complex technical initiatives with hands-on leadership.
• Recommend tooling, standards, and vendor considerations to IT Operations Director.
• Administer and optimize cloud-based enterprise tech including endpoint, identity, and security mgmt.
• Manage Microsoft 365, Intune, and Entra ID environments with Conditional Access policies.
• Manage identity solutions (Okta) and MFA to protect Treeline systems and data.
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with in-house engineers and MSPs across departments and countries.
• Maintain documentation, tickets, and knowledge base per ITSM processes.
• Design and implement IT solutions with local and remote teams.
