The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, with experience in HVAC and facility systems. This contract role could extend and lead to full-time for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of relevant experience; an engineering degree is preferred.
• Experience with HVAC, water systems, and air systems within a facility environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical issues effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using CMMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering operations and provide technical guidance to technicians, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment lifespan and operational efficiency.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and validate commissioning information for new equipment.
• Coordinate with clients to schedule maintenance activities, minimizing business disruption.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and regulations related to building operations and work safety.
