Job summary

Caliberr Staffing is seeking a Lead Industrial Maintenance Specialist to act as a technical authority for complex manufacturing systems, driving reliability through expert troubleshooting and proactive equipment management.

You will lead a maintenance team, oversee overhauls of heavy machinery, ensure safety standards (LOTO, NFPA 70E, OSHA), and mentor staff while optimizing CMMS-driven preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in industrial plant maintenance.
• Proven expertise in rubber or plastic injection molding environments.
• Proficiency in reading complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics.
• Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLC troubleshooting.
• Strong command of precision tools, including multimeters and micrometers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex failures in high-pressure hydraulic molding systems, including pumps, valves, and cylinders.
• Maintain and optimize PLC-controlled automation, VFDs, and industrial sensor networks to minimize downtime.
• Lead major overhauls of heavy industrial machinery, including gearboxes, drive shafts, and thermal heating units.
• Execute and refine preventive maintenance schedules within the CMMS to improve long-term asset health.
• Perform precision rigging and alignment for large-scale equipment installations and relocations.
• Mentor junior staff on technical best practices and oversee the execution of critical work orders.
• Ensure strict adherence to LOTO, NFPA 70E, and OSHA safety standards across all maintenance activities.
