Job summary

Lilly Medicine Foundry in Lebanon, Indiana seeks a Utilities Senior Operator to independently manage utility systems, safety, and continuous improvement on a 12-hour shift schedule. The role requires quick problem solving, hands‑on leadership, and adherence to GMP practices in a high‑stakes manufacturing environment.

Initial location is Carmel, Indiana, with permanent placement at the Lebanon site after training. Competitive benefits and a company‑sponsored bonus program are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years in utilities/industrial or mechanical operations; GMP pharmaceutical environment preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and valid driver’s license.
• Willing to respond to call‑ins and overtime.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds and work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain all assigned utility systems with minimal oversight.
• Maintain housekeeping standards across utility areas and address cleanliness issues.
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment/process issues; communicate findings to supervision.
• Assist training of Operators and share knowledge on procedures and safety.
• Suggest continuous improvement ideas; elevate safety concerns to leads.
• Follow SOPs, GMP requirements, and site EH&S protocols; document logs.
