Job summary

Bechtel is leading the Port Arthur LNG project in Port Arthur, TX, directing a team of superintendents and craft professionals. You will coordinate subcontract work, ensure adherence to schedules and budgets, and support testing and commissioning activities on a complex LNG facility.

The role emphasizes strong communication, field supervision, and the ability to develop short-range look-ahead plans while working with engineers and field staff on site.

Qualifications

• Requires 12-14 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in LNG, oil, gas, refinery, petrochemical, minerals processing or power generating station construction along the U.S. Gulf Coast preferred.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written; computer-literate in word processing, spreadsheets, and database applications.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and directs craft activities; schedules work and reviews progress.
• Determines workforce requirements and coordinates operational plans.
• Ensures compliance with specifications, schedules and budgets; enforces safety/quality procedures.
• Interprets engineering design documents and oversees implementation of engineering solutions.
