Job summary

Bechtel Corporation seeks a senior construction engineering professional to supervise and mentor junior piling and site works field engineers on the Port Arthur LNG project. You will lead work planning, material management, quantity verification and validation, safety and quality control, and coordinate system turnover.

Your role ensures field engineering activities are performed safely, complete, and compliant with standards and project specifications.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field with 8–10 years (or 12–14 years) of construction experience.
Experience with Civil Site Works and piling (concrete, helical, caissons, marine).
LNG construction site experience along the U.S. Gulf Coast.
Strong communication skills, proficiency with office software, and knowledge of industry codes.
Commitment to ES&H and ability to work extended schedules.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise construction engineering activities for piling and site works.
Coordinate work planning, packaging, IWPs, quantity take-off and forecasting.
Manage safety and quality control, ensuring compliance with design plans.
Oversee documentation for turnover and project closeout.
