Qualifications
- Associate degree in Engineering Technology or CAD required.
- 20+ years of relevant electrical/instrumentation drafting experience.
- Familiarity with NEC and electrical installation documentation.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and MicroStation.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide a team of designers as lead designer.
- Deliver electrical/instrumentation design on time and within budget.
- Coordinate work with other disciplines and with the discipline lead.
- Provide technical guidance to junior staff and mentor subordinates.
- Produce 480VAC and 15kV/5kV equipment specifications with reviews.
- Estimate construction quantities and costs for projects.
- Lead design staff to meet scope, schedule and budget objectives.
