Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Transmission Line Project Engineer for a Lake Oswego, OR office with consideration for Boise, ID; Salt Lake City, UT; and Billings, MT. You will lead engineering for high‑voltage transmission lines, up to 765 kV, and oversee project execution plans, schedules, and client interactions.

The role requires 5–7 years of post‑education experience in transmission, strong knowledge of PLS‑CADD, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 5-7 years of post-education experience.
• 3+ years in transmission design/management of projects with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of NESC, RUS, and GO-95.
• Strong knowledge of transmission line fundamentals and PLS-CADD operation.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering of transmission projects up to 765kV.
• Develop initial project execution layouts and schedules.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams; conduct meetings.
• Ensure QA/QC adherence and safety compliance.
• Travel to client offices and field facilities as needed.
