Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Project Engineer to join our Boise, Idaho office, with consideration for Nampa, ID; Portland, OR; Billings, MT; and Salt Lake City, UT. We offer hybrid or remote workstyles and a path to lead high‑voltage overhead transmission line projects.

Responsibilities include technical leadership, schedule creation, client coordination, and staff mentorship across multidisciplinary teams, up to 765kV designs, using PLS‑CADD and related tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or closely related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of relevant post-education transmission engineering experience.
• Engineer license required (multi-state preferred).
• PE licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Lead transmission projects up to 765kV with technical leadership.
• Create and maintain the project schedule and lead meetings.
• Coordinate with clients on status and assist in project forecasting.
• Lead project teams and mentor staff across multi-disciplinary groups.
