Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a seasoned Transmission Project Engineer to lead engineering for high‑voltage projects up to 765kV. The role involves planning, scheduling, and coordinating with clients and multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Ideal candidates will hold a PE license, have 7–10 years in transmission, and demonstrate strong English communication, safety adherence, and proficiency with industry tools like PLS-CADD, ArcGIS, and AutoCAD/MicroStation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• 7-10 years’ experience in the transmission field and leading multidisciplinary teams.
• PE licensure.
• Understanding of NESC, RUS, and GO-95.
• Strong command of English with good written and verbal communication.
• Experience using Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering of transmission projects up to 765kV.
• Create and maintain a project schedule and lead meetings.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams on project status.
• Mentor staff and lead project teams of varying sizes.
• Support QA/QC procedures and safety standards.
