Job summary

WSP is seeking a Transmission Line Project Engineer in Lake Oswego, OR, with opportunities to support high‑voltage overhead projects and coordinate across multi-disciplinary teams. You will provide technical leadership in planning, design, and delivery, including PLS-CADD design, scheduling, and client interactions.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 5–7 years in transmission, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering and 5-7 years post-education experience.
  • 3+ years in transmission field designing/managing projects and leading multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of NESC, RUS, and GO-95; strong English communication; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the engineering of transmission projects up to 765kV.
  • Create and maintain a project schedule; lead meetings and coordinate with clients.
  • Support PMs with scope, schedule, and budget; develop client relationships.
  • Ensure QA/QC compliance, safety, and cross‑disciplinary collaboration.
  • Mentor staff and contribute to department improvements.
