Job summary

Sonesta Hotels International Corporation is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor in New Orleans to lead daily housekeeping operations and ensure rooms and public areas meet the highest cleanliness standards.

You will oversee a housekeeping team, perform room inspections, and collaborate with Front Office and Engineering to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience within housekeeping or hospitality operations preferred.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, room inspection standards, cleaning procedures, and guest service expectations.

Responsibilities

• Support daily housekeeping operations across guest rooms, suites, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
• Supervise, support, and guide housekeeping team members to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and guest service standards.
• Inspect guest rooms, public spaces, and operational areas to ensure brand standards and cleanliness expectations are met.
• Monitor room readiness, housekeeping productivity, operational flow, and guest satisfaction.
• Respond quickly and professionally to guest requests and service recovery situations.
• Partner with Front Office, Engineering, Laundry, and leadership teams to support seamless operations.
• Assist with onboarding, training, scheduling, coaching, and communication for housekeeping staff.
• Ensure adherence to sanitation standards, OSHA regulations, chemical handling, and safety policies.
